SciCulture!
SciCulture is just a few hours old! But keep checking back here for a site that seeks to explore the culture of science. Science is a part of everyday life for most people of most societies, particularly if you're reading this (you did arrive here by the internet, a network of electrons and photons being manipulated by people to communicate).
The future of SciCulture can include you! To start with, click the "Forum" link in the upper right corner and be taken to The Science Forum, a discussion forum that originally began in 2004. There, you might find discussions on geology, climate, physics, math, sociology, archaeology and anthropology among others! Feel free to register and participate or just browse the discussions (though, registration makes the silly advertisements disappear).
In the near future, we'll be adding at least one blog, with hopes of adding others. We'll have feature articles on science and the public and science in general. We'll also have a news section that is regularly populated with up-to-the-minute news articles.
It doesn't look like much now, but give us a few days...
